A low-key suburb of Fort Worth, Aledo occupies a slice of land just south of I-20. Unlike in the city, homes and buildings are spread out here, giving residents the sense that they have plenty of room to stretch out. Living in Aledo makes it easy to enjoy quiet evenings and tranquil weekends away from the frenzy of the city.
Since the town’s development has increased in the last few decades, most of the homes for sale in Aledo are shiny new structures equipped for modern living. Well-maintained older homes, however, are not hard to find, and they’re typically available at attractive price points.
Though there’s not a huge commercial district here, a grouping of local businesses is peppered near S Front Street and N Front Street. These shops and restaurants occupy older buildings, giving the area an authentic Old West feel.
